World-class golf, outstanding leisure facilities and a stunning setting are three of the key ingredients needed for a memorable golfing break, and golfers can experience all this and more when staying at the five-star Praia D’El Rey Marriott Golf & Beach Resort this autumn.
An hour north of Lisbon, the resort and its two acclaimed 18-hole courses all overlook Portugal’s breathtaking Silver Coast, and players can enjoy fantastic value on three, four and seven-night bed-and-breakfast stays booked over the coming months.
Prices start from €285 per person (approximately £250) for a three-night, two-round break, with all packages including golf on the spectacular West Cliffs Golf Links and Praia D’El Rey’s other championship layout.
As Cynthia Dye’s first course design in Portugal, West Cliffs has won widespread global praise and claimed a number of top accolades since opening last summer, including being named as the ‘World’s Best New Golf Course’ at the 2017 World Golf Awards.
Praia D’El Rey, meanwhile, is also ranked among Europe’s top 50 courses.
In addition, there’s the chance to enjoy a further nine holes free of charge each day on the same course just played (depending on availability), with transfers to West Cliffs also included.
All packages, which are based on two people sharing a room, feature bed-and-breakfast accommodation in a garden or golf-view room in Praia D’El Rey’s five-star Marriott hotel as well as complimentary access to the resort’s luxury spa and health club.
There’s plenty to enjoy away from the fairways, too, with the resort boasting an extensive array of world-class sport and leisure facilities including a tennis academy, numerous watersports and five different restaurants, all serving fresh and authentic produce for which Portugal is renowned.
